Brighton Royal Pavilion Wedding photography
Brighton’s Royal Pavilion is a wonderful venue for small, intimate weddings. The Red Drawing Room where most ceremonies are held is a beautiful little room and quite simply exceptionally stunning for a civil ceremony venue. The walls are covered in a red and orange dragon motif following the Chinoiserie décor of the rest of the Pavilion, and along with the lighting, it gives a warm atmospheric glow to the room.
Despite the beautiful colours of the room, it does look very pretty in black and white, too.
As we all know, often black and white photographs are actually better because you don’t have all those colours to detract the attention away from the main subject of the photo, the happy couple.
After the ceremony the newly-weds walk through a beautiful pink walled corridor to the Music Room for some posed photos. On the way there is a lovely Chinoiserie style staircase.
The Music Room is amazing in every way and has quite a few lovely spots for photos.
While you have your photos taken in the Music Room, the friendly staff escort your guests to the gardens on the other side of the building, ready to greet you when you make your exit.
And when you get outside the Pavilion building, there are more beautiful spots for photos, of course.
All in all, the Brighton Royal Pavilion is a lovely and quite unusual wedding venue and I always enjoy photographing weddings there. The staff are very friendly, too, so I can thoroughly recommend it!
