A little winter holiday in Finland

I was in Finland last week to see an old friend of mine who is quite poorly. I had a wonderful few days with her exchanging stories and looking at photos and videos I took for her on a trip to Bhutan a couple of years ago. As I live on the south coast of England, I don’t get to see much snow, so I was hoping it would snow during my stay in Finland. And it did! All Finns seemed to think ‘oh no, not more snow…’ but I was in seventh heaven! Here are a few photos I took.

I had a companion, too! She ran around in the newly fallen fluffy snow for ages, and then decided to sit in a chair and have a rest.

Isn’t she beautiful!
