I photographed a lovely and beautiful wedding on the Brighton Bandstand last week.

When the couple said that they have about 90 guests for the ceremony, I was wondering how they would all fit in the smallish space, but I was surprised to see that even with the chairs laid out, there was plenty of room for everyone.

The guests were waiting for the bride to arrive… she was fashionably late!

…but when she did arrive, she did so amongst cheers from the guests. And no wonder – she looked very stunning, and very happy!

There were 50 chairs laid out in the middle, and as you can see, still plenty of space for the aisle and 40 more people standing with good view of the couple.

So much happiness and laughter. Such a lovely, fun couple!

I took a group photo of all the guests at the wedding ceremony…

…and then everyone made their way to the party venue: Hove Rugby Club.

It was a complete surprise for me to see the decorations inside – an indoor marquee! Very pretty. But more about the whole wedding later!

If you like the idea of having your wedding by the sea, the Brighton Bandstand is a lovely venue! And in case of less than great weather, the ceremony can be moved to downstairs cafe space.
