I have been the official photographer for Chaîne des Rôtisseurs London Bailliage for a year now. The Chaîne in short is a Premier International Fine Food And Wine Organisation, and they organise luncheons and dinners a few times a year. I enjoyed photographing the events so much that I have now become a full member myself. On Saturday we returned to Mosimann’s Private Dining Club for a Christmas luncheon – this is where I photographed my first event for the Chaîne a year ago.
The food was simply divine. To tell you the truth, despite being Finnish and coming from the land of gravad lax, I have never enjoyed non-sashimi (ie. Japanese style) raw salmon in my life before. But this was so good that I could have had another two rolls of it easily. And the smoked halibut with tarragon dressing was dreamy.
Roast saddle of Highland venison. Tender and juicy – perfect combination with spätzle, braised cabbage and Brussels sprouts.
